I've been a MULTI-HYPHENATE since I was kid. I remember bouncing from equestrian to theater to outdoor survival to oboe practice and not loving any one of them enough to give up the others.
I've been CHALLENGING THE STATUS QUO since University, where I was famous for relentlessly challenging EVERYTHING my business professors said.
I’ve been WORKING WITH DIVERGENTS for almost 20 years, since I was hired by my favorite boss - a hilarious and brilliant disabled, butch lesbian who ran HR at Goodwill.
I've been an ENTREPRENEUR and COACH for 12 years, and my business has been through 6 freakin iterations!
It took me a long ass time to make sense of my own DIVERGENCE and find my PATH TO PROFIT.
It wasn’t until 2018 that I realized I was Researching, Envisioning, and Creating a DIVERGENT BODY OF WORK.
And I couldn’t CLEARLY EXPLAIN IT until THIS year - even though I’ve been helping my clients explain their work and divergence - for YEARS now!
Making sense of my Divergence in my business has affected EVERY part of my life.
It gave me the courage to COME OUT AS QUEER at 40 and to explore kink and ethical non-monogamy.
It led me to discover, at 42, that I have ADHD and am WILDLY NEURODIVERGENT #latebloomer
And it was in writing this very website that it became undeniably clear that I NEVER felt like a girl growing up because I'm NON-BINARY!

here’s what i wish someone had told me:
This decades-long journey to CLARITY and CLIENTS, is NOT abnormal for Trailblazing Divergents.
Nor does it mean we're broken or doomed to fail.
In fact, it’s one of the reasons why we’re able to PUSH BOUNDARIES, DISRUPT INDUSTRIES, AND SHIFT PARADIGMS.
We Divergents are almost ALWAYS the first of our kind.
I’m NOT exaggerating when I say that EVERY CLIENT I’ve had has spent YEARS, if not decades, cultivating their DIVERGENT VISION and trying to find their path.
And my journey is no different…

For YEARS, I INTERNALIZED what WELL-MEANING friends, family, colleagues, teachers, AND society told me about
- myself, my expertise, and my business -
as GOSPEL TRUTH.
That I was UNFOCUSED and “FLAKY”.
But also TOO intense, serious, and detail obsessed.
That I NEEDED to make up my mind and PICK ONE THING.
Because I'd only find fulfillment when I found the “right” one.
That I was TOO blunt, out there, and WEIRD.
If I wanted MORE CLIENTS and MONEY, my Divergence had to be MASKED.
It took me nearly 4 decades to realize that NONE OF IT WAS TRUE.
To discover that hidden amidst our MESSY journeys, CONFUSING lineages, and CHAOTIC creation style is something POWERFUL AF - our DIVERGENT COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE.
and that, my friends, is why i do this work.
Because when I STOPPED seeing my TRAILBLAZING nature and MULTI-HYPHENATE tendencies AS OBSTACLES and looked at them DIFFERENTLY, it became OBVIOUS AF that I have something NO ONE ELSE DOES…
