Now that you have your coffee/green juice, let's get started on Part Two: What I Need From You! Specifically, I need two things from you to ensure we're kicking ass and taking names:
ONE: COMMUNICATION is key
The single most important factor in my ability to take you the Next Level is clear and open communication. I need to understand precisely what it is you want before I can deliver it. I'll help you with this by always asking clarifying questions about the project, the deadline (to the hour), extra options you haven't thought of, etc. I'll also ask follow-up questions post delivery to see what worked and what didn't. This helps us both stay on top of the details.
Keep in mind, that the more we communicate and longer we work together, the better I'll get at anticipating your needs and knowing your preferences, i.e. we'll get an increasingly better return on our communication investment.
I NEED FEEDBACK, SO DO YOU
Feedback is food for productive happy relationships. If there is ever anything I can do to improve our work together, I need to hear from you. I need you to always be honest and open with me about what's working for you and what's not. I promise that I'll always do the same. You'll never be left wondering what I'm thinking, for better or worse!
TIMELY FOLLOW THROUGH
At this point, you know that I'm going to follow through and do what I say. If there's a hiccup, you're going to know about right away. I need you to do the same. If I ask for additional info from you to start or complete a project and you don't deliver it by the agreed upon time, our deadline is toast. I'll help prevent this by setting up reminders for you on Asana so that you know exactly what I need and when. What happens when your dog eats your homework? I GET it, life's unpredictable. In these instances, tell me you've been delayed, e.g. 30 second email that says "Cat, I can't get this info for you until tomorrow," so that I can stay on top of things. I'll keep you updated on how a late delivery affects my timeline. No guessing, no chasing.
TWO: I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOU
The second key to our success is you sharing your vision and the details of your life so that I can really get to know you. When I understand what makes you tick, your brand shine, and your significant other happy, I can create systems and processes that match your unique needs and ensure that you never miss another anniversary. Part A of this questionnaire is going to collect your contact information as well as information on your goals, business, and personal life. If we've already discussed a question, feel free to skip it. If you'd like to send me your strategic plan, brand guide, etc. to supplement this basic information that would be fantastic! Otherwise, I'll let you know if I need additional information after you complete the questionnaire.
Part B of this questionnaire covers account logins and passwords. I only need you to complete Part B if we've agreed that I'll be managing some or all of your online activity, e.g. your email, website and Instagram. If I won't be updating a platform, I don't need your login and password.
